Factory Underground Studio Co-Produces 2nd Annual Hometown Love Charity Basketball Tournament and Ba
Building on the success of his first Hometown Love Charity Food Drive in June 2016, rap music artist FNX (Kenny Shuler) has done it once again, launching his second annual Hometown Love event on May 20, 2017. The charity event consisted of a basketball tournament, barbecue, and canned food drive. Added features included a children's "Book Nook" curated by Norwalk YA author Kamichi Jackson. Other kid-friendly features included free ice cream, bubbles, water balloons, and face painting. The event drew hundreds of people of all ages including Mayor Harry Rilling and Connecticut State Senator Bob Duff. The event was held on the grounds of the Carver Center of Norwalk, CT. Hometown Love was co-produced by FNX with Factory Underground Studio and Carver Foundation of Norwalk. Event Sponsors were Darien-Rowayton Bank, Willis Towers Watson, Pepsi, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, and AIM for a Better Tomorrow.
