Spotify and Ancestry.com have recently announced that they are pairing together to create a playlist based on your origins. They use your DNA to trace your origins to over 350 regions around the world and track your migration history. This data is used to create a playlist personalized to your specific heritage. There are been mixed reviews of the service, with some complaining that the playlists do not take their personal music taste into account and instead make a hodgepodge of music from the region for an impersonal result.
